Iron Range National Park is one of Australia’s special places, a part of Australia were nature still rules. A place were land bridges between Papua New Guinea and Australia have allowed an exchange of plants and animals to an extent not seen in any other part of the Australia.
Many of the animals you may see in Iron Range can also be found in Papua New Guinea.
Birdwatchers come from all over Australia and the World to see the unique assortment of birds and animals found at Iron Range.
Eighteen (18) species of special and unique birds can be found at Iron Range National Park.
